We would like to present a new and old game... well, we are not crazy, it is really just like that!
Around 1991, our friends Acme and Mikomedes wrote a game for the Spectrum which got lost in the sands of time, until, just a year ago, they recovered it and made it work.
As time passes by for everyone and everything, they also decided to create a new version, updating most of the aspects of the game by using the new tools for programming Spectrum games, and taking advantage of the 128K models. So that is how 2 new games in 1 were born here at Retroworks:
«Long time ago, where the sun softly raised above the leafy forests and the day just counted a few hours. In misty, shadowy lands. Our hero, who can now be mentioned as such, whose name was then strange, Sir Oup, hanged on a gate that gave entrace to King Chardy's castle. The king had requested his presence...»
If you want to know more about the story, go to the game card... Oh! And it will be available to buy in cassette format, with a really nice cardboard box, at Retromadrid 2014!

As an early gift from Santa Claus, we want release our new game today: Brunilda.
A game for 128k Spectrum, which was conceived as interactive fiction for PC but was never ended, and in the end has become an adventure game for Spectrum with a huge map to explore, and a very different development from the original planning.
We hope you like it and enjoy playing as much as we have enjoyed programming it.
You can download it from its entry.

The history starts right after you got your memory back in your previous adventure. That scroll you found turned out to be a music score containging the beats of what seemed to be a brief melody. The dim light in the hall didn't let you see which melody was it; so you lighted up a candle and held it near the scroll.
Want to help our intrepid adventurous again?
